Hello brothers and sisters
I hope all is well and that many blessings are being poured out upon you all.

This time of year is one of my favorites. I love spring and fall. Going out on walks with my wife and seeing everyone outside and working in their yards, and talking with neighbors that I don’t know as well as others and those I know well.
Another reason I like this time of year is conference is held. Although different this time I thought it was one of the best I’ve been part of. I reread the prophets concluding talk on Sunday (Go Forward in Faith) and there was something that really made me think. He said
The many inspiring components of this April 2020 general conference—and the sacred week that we now begin—can be summarized by two divinely decreed words: “Hear Him.”
President Russell M. Nelson
These were the words spoken to Joseph Smith when he took to the woods to pray to find out which church he should join.
How do we as a few of His faithful followers hear him?

Elder Bednar, in a blog (“Hear Him” in Your heart and in Your mind.) talks about some of the lessons he has learned while appropriately striving to hear him. I read over these ways he talks about and none of these things he talks about are things that you and I can’t do. We don’t need to be a Prophet or General Authority to “Hear Him”. We just need to listen. Good music, reading scriptures, prayer and other things are just a few ways we can “Hear Him”. Please take time to read this blog that Elder Bednar talks about.
I am very grateful that we have living Prophets on the earth today who love us and want the best for us. We just need to listen. It probably won’t be a big, loud message we get but maybe a small quiet message that we will hear.
Thanks for all you do. Stay safe and build your foundation on the rock a our Redeemer.
