Hello brothers and sisters I hope all is well and that the blessings of our Father in Heaven are being poured out upon you.
As I have thought about this pandemic and the bad things that have been reported I thought that there has to be things out there that I am thankful for because my family and I have truly been blessed.
People have lost loved ones. People have lost their jobs and some have lost their places to live. There are many things that one could be very ungrateful for.
I decided to think of some of the things I am grateful for but the list was way to long. So I made a list of things that have truly blessed my life during this time.
I am grateful for my family, for a loving wife and children and we can’t forget the grandkids that have helped us during these times. We didn’t see our family for a few weeks. We would drive by and wave and that was hard everyday.
I am grateful for the leaders of our country, of our state and especially for the leadership of our church. I know they are being guided by the inspiration of our Father in heaven.
I am grateful for my job. I have been asked to work from home and not to be in the office as much. My customers have asked that I don’t come see them because most of them are working from home too. So I have emailed and text and made phone calls, a few every day. I have been in touch with some customers that I wouldn’t see everyday. We have stayed very busy and we have been very blessed.
I am grateful for my health and the health of my family.
I am grateful for great friends and neighbors, I am grateful for people who are smarter than I am that make my messages look so good.
My list can go on and on. But on the lighter side of things I am grateful for baseball. I hope everyone can find a few things that they are very grateful for during these trying. You all help make a great ward. Thanks for all you do.
