Hello brothers and sisters, my name is Quincie Parker and I was asked to give a little message on Father’s Day.
I just want to say how grateful I am to have such amazing father figures in my life. Without my dad, grandpas, and uncles I wouldn’t be the girl I am today. I have learned so much from them and have been greatly blessed to have them in my life. Ezra Taft Benson said,
A father’s calling is eternal, and its importance transcends time.
I really like this quote because it tells just how important a father is to his family. I have been blessed to have the priesthood in my home. It has been such a blessing my entire life. Through so many different trials and changes in my life, my dad has always been there to help me and has often given me a Father’s blessing to help me with whatever it is I need at the time. Having the priesthood in my house has also allowed me and my family to have sacrament on Sunday since quarantine began.
I am also greatly blessed to have my father in heaven who gave his only begotten son so that we can return to him and our families in heaven. He has given us everything we will ever need to return to him. He blesses us in ways we may never know and loves us more than we can comprehend. He has set the best example for the fathers in our world and has given them the ability to bless us and bring us closer to thee.
Remember to thank the fathers in your life and thank them for all they have done for you. Especially remember to thank your father in heaven, he has given us everything and will always love us unconditionally. I say these things in the name if Jesus Christ amen.
